The South African Dried Fruit Factory is nearby where you can enjoy a tour of the premises and once you have finished your tour you can buy some of your own dried fruit at the shop. Just 15km outside of Upington is the Spitskop Nature Reserve for great game viewing and getting out into the nature. A must see in July, August and September are the Namaqualand flowers, this is breathtakingly exquisite.
