Twee Rivieren
The Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park in the southern part of Africa is one of the premier wilderness adventure hot spots for tourists from every part of the globe. The Kgalagadi Park offers not only superior wildlife viewing opportunities but also various different accommodation and camping facilities. The Twee Rivieren Rest Camp based on the South African side of the park, is no different. You can expect to catch a glimpse of; gemsbok, meerkats, Pygmy falcons and the notorious black-maned Kalahari lions who wonder dangerously close to the Nossob and Auob river beds.
For accommodation and lodging, the Twee Rivieren Rest Camp offers you a selection from thirty one cozy thatch-roofed and air-conditioned chalets. The camp site also has a restaurant that caters for breakfast and super as well as a small shop that sells outdoor essentials. There is noting better that sitting outside and enjoying a meal with friends, family and nature, thus the camp offers a variety in picnic and barbecue facilities and an oasis like swimming pool to cool you down from the harsh African sun.
