Few sights are as jaw-dropping as the 56 metre high cascading Augrabies Falls thundering down rocky surroundings into the Orange River Gorge. From Oranjekom and Ararat viewpoints you will have the best views of the impressive gorge and the wildlife that has made this unique environment their home. Be on the lookout for the nesting Black Eagle and the Cape clawless otters visiting the river early mornings and late afternoons. Hike along the edge of the gorge providing breathtaking views or longer hikes can be made to the rocky terrain of Moon Rock and the Potholes. Go on a game drive to view the impressive variety of wildlife, mountain bike the marked trails, discover the prolific bird life and reptiles, or canoe on the river.
